Things that make you go hmm.......
So Ocdee has brought it to my attention that it is indeed 4/20 today. All of you that partake know what this means. Her blog discusses this, but I wanted to bring to your attention something that I believed to be a little strange. Now, for those of you that don't know I am a resident of one of the most devout Roman Catholic towns in the nation- good ol' St. Louis, MO. I made an observation that each and every grocery store in this city but good ol granola lovin Whole Foods was closed. I mean ALL OF THEM!!! If you didn't go grocery shopping yesterday you were just SOL. So, keep this in mind when I tell you that all these good ol Catholics were sitting at the Cards game gettin slizzed. Yes the game was televised and yes I did pass the stadium as I was coming from church today. I mean is this a problem for anyone but me!!! What happened to Sunday being the Sabboth and keeping it holy. Especially for such a huge Catholic town, and this is one of the most important if not the most important religous obsevances for any one in the Christian faith. I mean you people can get drunk and watch baseball but you can't keep your grocery stores open!!! I can understand the close in the grocery stores if other things aren't going to be going on within the city but this is just ludicrous!!
